  • Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation and/or replacement of HVAC Controls Systems & Equipment, Building Control Systems, and occasionally Fire/Security Systems.
  • Work primarily with Johnson Controls Metasys brand of building automation systems and controls products.
  • Assist branch leadership with coaching and mentoring of branch technicians.
  • Ensure work is performed in compliance with company, state, local and Federal legal requirements.
  • Complete all required company, customer, and service documentation.
  • Provide solutions to complex system problems by troubleshooting or advising on resolutions.
  • Communicate with customers upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
  • Manage assigned work to meet a professional level of execution, on-time and to customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct self-study to improve and maintain technical proficiency.
  • Complete all training and certifications as required by the company.
  • High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • At least 3 years of related experience.
  • Experience with programming and/or troubleshooting in HVAC Controls products.
  • Experience with BAS communication protocols such as BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, and/or LON.
  • Adhere to all Johnson Controls and customer safety standards.
  • Recognized as a Leader by peers and provide safety leadership and instruction.
  • Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Siemens, Delta, Distech, Carrier, ALC, and/or Andover.
  • Viewed as an expert in the field by both employees and customers.
  • Assist in developing quotes and estimates for identified L&M work.
