About The Position

This individual is responsible for the supervision of operations and repairs to the mechanical systems to include heating, ventilation, air condition, refrigeration and steam boilers. Supervise and manage Team Members and requisitioning of equipment, supplies and materials.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Schooling in HVAC system required.
• Minimum of four years in overall maintenance and plant operations.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, steam boilers, air conditioning, refrigeration, pneumatic controls, and AHUs.
• Skills in oral and written communication required.
• Ability to operate steam boilers, chillers, A/C units, and all power tools, electrical and mechanical equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage Team Members.
• Requisition and purchase equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Train and supervise boiler operators, sheet metal mechanics, plumbers, and A/C mechanics.
• Supervise the maintenance and operation of mechanical systems including chillers, boilers, refrigeration, pneumatic controls, and air handler units.
• Assist Team Members in troubleshooting equipment and systems.
• Responsible for maintenance schedules of heating and A/C systems, steam boilers, converters, compressors, and pneumatic controls.
• Conduct counseling, evaluations, and implementation of PM programs for Team Members.
• Conduct training programs for Team Members.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
