Join our team as an Engineering Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective operations of the mechanical-related systems area.

  • Carry out company policy and duties as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Supervise and train the engineering staff in the safe and efficient operation of the Central Plant and Energy Management Systems.
  • Responsible for the preventative maintenance and major maintenance of Central Plant Machinery.
  • Supervise and train the HVAC mechanics to do preventative maintenance, major maintenance, and emergency calls on all HVAC equipment campus-wide.
  • Responsible for the formulation and implementation of energy savings operations.
  • Formulate a 'sequence of operations' to best utilize the central plant machinery.
  • Maintain proper and adequate inventory of spare parts.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in operation and supervision of multi-boiler and multi-chiller installations required.
  • Knowledge of computerized energy management systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Stationary Engineer license preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is required if operating Community vehicles.
  • AFE Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) certification within one year of hire.
  • EPA 608 Universal certification within one year of hire.
  • NFPA 70E certification within one year of hire.
  • OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Certification within 1 year of hire.
