About The Position
Systems Contractors is a commercial and industrial HVAC contractor offering end-to-end service for our customers, from design to completion. We specialize in solutions for commercial and industrial facilities, ductwork/metal fabrication, piping, service, custom air handling units and building automation systems. Hiring an HVAC Field Startup - Commissioning Technician Be a part of our service team! This position travels to new installation sites to conduct the final phase of installation, test, and startup new commercial and industrial equipment.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- EPA Universal Certification
- 2 + years of HVAC Startup / Commissioning experience
- Experience with low voltage wiring, installing refrigeration lines and evacuation and start-up of equipment
- Experience troubleshooting equipment
- Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Safety knowledge of tools and surroundings and ability to comply with all safety rules
- Able to work as team or independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Pre startup and startup of Commercial and industrial Equipment
- Installing condensate drains, refrigerant pipe, starting ductless split systems and some controls wiring etc.
