About The Position

Under general direction of management personnel, assists in maintaining facilities. Does related work as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 2 years of job-related experience Required
• Valid Arizona Driver’s License Required

Nice To Haves

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical certification or work-related experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with physical plant maintenance and makes minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, glazing and painting repairs
• Receive bids and prices for work to be completed
• Conducts job walks as required
• Assists staff with various projects and builds special equipment and program materials as needed
• Sets up facilities for events
• Maintains door hardware and key systems
• Moves furniture, classroom supplies and equipment to designated locations
• Performs other maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, installing dead bolts, and constructing partitions
• Heating and air conditioning maintenance
• Assists in restoration of buildings and grounds during school vacation and in coordinating work activities of summer help
• Keeps equipment clean and in operating order
• Operates necessary machines, tools and equipment
• Performs related work as required
