About The Position

Job Responsibilities Lead and install sheet metal ductwork systems for HVAC projects, ensuring quality and compliance with plans and specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and SMACNA standards for proper duct installation. Collaborate with technicians, installers, project managers, and contractors to meet project goals. Support both new construction and retrofit projects. Work independently while maintaining communication with the superintendent, builder, and management. Identify and resolve potential issues proactively to keep projects on schedule. Help coordinate project scheduling and assign appropriate technician and installer support. Attend project and team meetings as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sheet metal installation for HVAC systems.
  • Strong understanding of ductwork systems and layout.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent attendance and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and leadership ability.
  • Employment/education will be verified.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • This position requires a valid driver’s license.
  • Eligible to work weekends and nights as needed.
  • Able to work in a variety of extreme weather, hot and cold conditions.
  • Able to work safely in confined spaces such as attics, basements, closets, and crawl spaces.
  • Able to work safely at elevated heights such as rooftops, ceilings, and ladders.
  • Able to bend, crawl, stoop, stretch, and reach.
  • Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Able to work off a ladder, sometimes at heights.
  • Able to safely lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of IECC energy codes and practices .
  • Familiarity with SMACNA standards and industry best practices.
