About The Position

The HVAC Services Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. This role ensures that systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all applicable codes and standards. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and skilled in diagnosing and resolving HVAC issues.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training in HVAC systems preferred.
EPA Section 608 Certification (Type I, II, or Universal) required.
2+ years of experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.
Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (indoor/outdoor, confined spaces, rooftops).

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ductwork.
Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Diagnose system malfunctions and determine the most effective repair solutions.
Calibrate thermostats, test electrical circuits, and ensure system efficiency.
Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and job documentation.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding service needs, repair options, and cost estimates.
Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency service as required.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
