The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to perform diagnostics, repairs, and installations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and efficiently while ensuring high standards of service and safety.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service preferred
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and other related equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Respond to residential service calls and perform thorough diagnostics on HVAC issues
- Explain problems, repair options and recommendations clearly to homeowners including cost estimates and proposals
- Adhere to all safety protocols, local codes and maintain a clean work environment
