As an HVAC Service Technician, the primary responsibility is to diagnose, maintain, and repair heating and cooling systems in residential settings, ensuring optimal system operation and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventative service to extend system life and optimize performance
  • Communicate clearly with customers to explain issues, outline solutions, and provide recommendations for system care or upgrades
  • Document all work performed, including materials used, system readings, and service notes in the company’s reporting system
  • Follow all safety procedures, code requirements, and company standards on every job
  • Collaborate with dispatch, sales, and other teams to ensure timely service, proper parts availability, and high customer satisfaction
  • Continuously stay updated on HVAC technology, tools, and industry best practices to improve service quality
