At Barron, our HVAC Service Technician will: Support team members while consistently delivering world-class customer service Follow established diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable service Clearly explain diagnostic findings, repair options and preventive maintenance recommendations to customers Perform scheduled maintenance and precision tune-ups to ensure efficient, safe operations on HVAC/R systems Accurately complete job tasks and required paperwork in a timely manner Provide clear and accurate estimates for time, materials, and costs associated with service work Ensure all parts, materials and labor are properly documented and billed on customer invoices Actively promote and sell maintenance memberships to customers Proactively communicate and promote current promotional offers to customers during service visits Maintain certifications and stay updated on industry best practices and new technology Effectively collaborate and build strong relationships with the Customer Experience (CXS) team Willingness to travel to accommodate all Barron service areas 4-day work week (specific hours and days may vary based on business needs; includes occasional half or full weekend shifts, full weekend shifts with pay premiums) Participate in an on-call rotation, which may include evenings and weekends (Paid overtime for all on-calls ran) Regularly lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50–75 lbs., occasionally up to 100 lbs. with assistance or equipment Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work in tight or overhead spaces Stay current on Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) Meet and exceed individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI) Maintain a neat, clean and organized vehicle Collaborate and build strong working relationships across all departments An outstanding HVAC Service Technician will have the following natural strengths & talents: Strong attention to detail Thrives in a fast-paced work environment Natural problem solver A drive for continuous learning A passion for challenges Team player who collaborates effectively

Requirements

  • 6+ months HVAC experience (required)
  • Active and up to date 06A Electrical License or trainee card (required)
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Pre-employment Drug Screening
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • EPA 608 Technician Certification (preferred but not required)
  • NATE Certification (preferred but not required)
  • HVAC Technical Degree (preferred but not required)
  • Experience working with your hands (i.e., personal automotive projects, woodworking)
  • Experience working with hand tools and power tools
