HVAC Service Technician Overview HVAC Service Technician COMPENSATION: $75,000-$150,000 annually, top technicians earning HIGHER! Requirements
- Must have 3+ years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician
- Must have EPA Universal or EPA Type II certification.
- Must know local HVAC codes and be able to apply them in a practical manner on each job.
- Must have, and maintain, a valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- C&C Myers may conduct a preemployment background check and drug test, subject to applicable law.
Nice To Haves
- NATE certification is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Clean, adjust and repair HVAC systems – air handling units, duct work, vents, condensation drainage.
- Troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment to diagnose.
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Track repairs and work completed in trade software, Service Titan.
- Engage with customer/client to inform them of issue, solution and outcome; recommend products and services for optimal system performance.
