HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
Are you looking to contribute your residential and commercial HVAC expertise with a well-established and customer-focused leader in construction and industrial climate control equipment rentals? REIC Rentals is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined HVAC Technician to support our Temporary Heating & Air-Conditioning Division . In this role, you'll deliver, install, service, and pick up temporary AC units, heaters, and ventilation equipment across commercial job sites. Requirements
- Mechanical aptitude with the willingness to learn HVAC equipment.
- Ability to lift 50-75 lbs on a consistent basis.
- Availability for overtime and flexible scheduling.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam .
- Comfortable towing and maneuvering trailers.
- Reliable, motivated, and safety-focused.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in HVAC, construction, or equipment rental is a plus , but not required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver, set up, and remove temporary AC units, heaters, and ventilation equipment on customer job sites.
- Safely operate company vehicles including pickup trucks, box trucks, and trailers.
- Perform basic mechanical tasks using common hand tools (pipe wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.).
- Assist with equipment troubleshooting, refueling, cleaning, and preventative maintenance.
- Complete daily safety inspections and required DOT documentation.
- Maintain a strong safety-first mindset in every task.
- Work overtime, early mornings, or late evenings as needed.
- Respond to after-hours or emergency calls during peak season.
