About The Position

An HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This role involves diagnosing system issues, performing routine and emergency repairs, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. Technicians interact with customers to explain problems and solutions, adhere to safety regulations, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. They may also be involved in system inspections, adjustments, and upgrades, while keeping detailed records of service performed. Strong technical skills, customer service, and adherence to industry standards are crucial for success in this role.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials (up to100 pounds)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
• 1 Year of experience

Nice To Haves

• EPA Type II Preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and boilers
• Drive a company van to various job sites to complete service calls
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC/R systems
• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment
• Repair or replace faulty components in HVAC systems
• Other duties as necessary.
