HVAC Service Technician
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced HVAC & Heat Pump Water Heater Service Technician who is a strong problem-solver, team player, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. This is not an entry-level position —we’re looking for someone with proven field experience who can independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and heat pump water heaters in residential settings. Requirements
- EPA 608 Refrigerant Certification (required)
- Minimum 3 years of HVAC field experience, including experience with heat pump water heaters
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (5+ years driving experience)
- Strong electrical diagnostic skills
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Organized, professional, and customer-focused
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and heat pump water heaters
- Install and replace components as needed
- Diagnose electrical issues using a multimeter
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
- Check and adjust refrigerant charge
- Commission newly installed systems for optimal performance
- Perform routine maintenance on installed systems, including HPWHs
- Deliver fast, effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
- Provide excellent customer communication and service
