This field-based HVAC Service Technician role involves end-to-end testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing assigned projects. The technician will serve as the direct customer contact, responsible for servicing products and equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer locations or the Rental Services depot. The role requires coordination with team leaders and customers to understand requirements, extensive examination of building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work. Technicians will use cutting-edge software, technology, and hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units. The position emphasizes maintaining high safety standards and accountability for company assets. Flexibility to work overtime and weeks, including occasional overnight stays, is required.
