About The Position

The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager and is an hourly, full-time position. This position will ensure all customer requests are identified and addressed in a prompt, accurate, and professional manner with safety with the end customer always top of mind.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in HVAC or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Universal EPA CFC certification.
• 10-hour OSHA certification.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high profile customer setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office software and handheld devices.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a mission-critical customer setting.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all customer requests are identified and addressed promptly and accurately.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with customers.
• Follow union qualification process for Journeyman standing.
• Install and maintain HVAC systems including Air Conditioning, Heating, Electrical, Boilers, Humidification, Dehumidification, and Refrigeration.
• Read wiring diagrams, mechanical layouts, and blueprints.
• Install clean, dry refrigeration piping systems.
