Summary: The Experienced HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the diagnosing, repairing, and servicing of HVAC equipment in residential and commercial environments. This position will inspect the effectiveness and safety of the system. You will lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions by providing extraordinary customer service.

Requirements

Proficient in cleaning and maintaining an HVAC system
Ability to diagnose and service residential and light commercial HVAC units
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate ideas related to policies and procedures and provide guidance to management and employees, verbally and in writing
Ability to follow safety standards
Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
Ability to multitask
Regular and reliable attendance
2 or more years of HVAC experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid driver’s license
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Ability to operate tablet, mobile phone and other field equipment as needed
Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
Ability to lift/carry up to 100lbs repeatedly during work hours
Ability to climb up and down ladders and/or step stools repeatedly during work hours
Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time during work hours
Ability to work in small and confined dark spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, etc.
Ability to work in a wide range of temperatures (indoor/outdoor)
Ability to drive up to 75% of the time between job sites and customer locations
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation

Meets with customer to assess the customer’s needs
Offers solutions that are beneficial for the customer and the company while striving for customer satisfaction
Follows standard process for maintaining HVAC systems
Completes sold services using protective measures to keep customer’s home clean and undamaged
Performs other duties as requested
