About The Position
E.L. Payne Company, a leading mechanical contractor with over 110 years of experience, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in servicing and maintaining residential heating and air conditioning systems. This includes expertise in various systems such as furnaces, fan coils, multi-stage condensers, mini splits, package units, low and medium-temperature wine systems, and water-source heat pumps. Experience with commercial systems, VRF/VRV systems, and wet systems is considered a plus. The HVAC Service Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting a variety of HVAC systems and equipment, primarily in residential settings. A solid skill set is essential, as the role involves performing preventative maintenance and, when necessary, selling new equipment. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and a willingness to collaborate with the office team regarding customer requests, required paperwork, and changes to schedules and routes. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for success in this position. This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
