Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (HVAC training is a big plus)
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician
  • Strong knowledge of residential HVAC systems—from installs to repairs
  • EPA certification for refrigerant handling (required)
  • Ability to lift equipment and stay active throughout the day
  • Solid problem-solving skills and good people skills
  • A safety-first mindset and pride in quality workmanship

Responsibilities

  • Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining residential HVAC systems
  • Playing HVAC detective when systems act up and finding smart solutions
  • Repairing or replacing parts like compressors, motors, capacitors, filters, and controls
  • Educating homeowners on efficient, cost-saving upgrades (no pushy sales)
  • Documenting work performed and parts used (we like things organized)
  • Following safety protocols and using proper PPE—every job, every time
  • Working closely with teammates to keep jobs smooth and stress-free
  • Communicating clearly with customers so they feel confident and taken care of
