About The Position

Requirements

• Prior completion of an HVAC trade school program.
• Maintenance or Electrical knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to keep a drug-free workplace.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work in extremes of heat, cold, and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work efficiently in confined spaces.
• Ability to work reaching above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.

Responsibilities

• Be safe! Safety is our #1 priority.
• Assist with performing assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in commercial and industrial settings on various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipment.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as needed.
• Assist with diagnosing causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components as needed.
• Use HVAC skills and experience to assist with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control systems.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools to maintain systems.
• Complete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld device.
• Work independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frame.
• Operate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territory.
• Perform other related duties or special projects, as assigned.
