About The Position

We are looking for a well-rounded service/installer combo technician. The position involves various responsibilities related to the installation and maintenance of HVAC systems.

Requirements

• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems.
• Effective communication with clients and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks requiring physical exertion.
• 10 years of field experience.
• High school diploma or GED, and potentially vocational training or an apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Install various HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ventilation systems, refrigeration units) according to blueprints, specifications, and manufacturer instructions.
• Design, fabricate, and install ductwork and fittings, including connecting ductwork to indoor and outdoor units.
• Test systems for proper operation, troubleshoot issues, and perform required maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, including refrigerant handling and long line applications.
• Perform routine maintenance, diagnose problems, and make necessary repairs on existing and new systems and any other HVAC systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including paperwork and electronic documentation.
