About The Position

Advanced Air Systems is looking for an HVAC Sales Manager to join our team and drive revenue growth across our commercial HVAC operations. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies, preparing accurate bid proposals, and building long-term relationships with key commercial accounts. The position requires a consultative sales approach, combining technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems with strong business development skills to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The HVAC Sales Manager is accountable for meeting quarterly sales quotas, maintaining estimating accuracy, and ensuring seamless project handoffs to the operations team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC commercial sales
  • High level of energy, creativity and independent thinking
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation and follow up skills required.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong work ethic and a high level of self-motivation.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
  • Successful Pre-Employment Drug

Responsibilities

  • provide professional bid proposals with a high level of attention to detail
  • Implement selling and marketing strategies to penetrate and develop commercial HVAC accounts
  • Develop strategic relationships with key commercial client accounts to generate repeat business
  • Develop strong relationships with HVAC subcontractors and vendors
  • Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • Perform sales presentations and site walks as needed
  • Provide knowledge and consultation by developing commercial HVAC system solutions for customer needs
  • Understand construction specifications in relationship to production, construction, and installation within the commercial HVAC industry
  • Present weekly internal sales reports
  • Achieve quarterly quota for bids submitted and won
  • Maintain active participation in 2–3 networking groups
  • Follow up on all proposals within established timelines
  • Track and report all proposal submissions, follow-ups, and sales data at weekly sales meetings
  • Schedule and complete project handoffs with the operations team upon securing a project
  • Perform buy-outs for all major equipment and materials and deliver full submittal packages to the Project Manager
  • Stay up to date on active jobs, ensure client satisfaction, process change orders and design changes, and address major issues by providing direction to the team
  • Collect on any accounts that are 30 days past due
  • Attend new product training sessions to stay current on industry advancements
