As our HVAC Inside Sales Leader, you will be the driving force behind our regional growth, serving as both a technical expert and a dedicated mentor to a high-performing sales team. Reporting directly to branch leadership, you will lead, develop, and actively support the HVAC Inside Sales Team in Fishers. This role is a premier opportunity to shape a unified team culture while directly influencing sales growth, gross margin, and order accuracy in one of our key markets.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team with a focus on coaching and performance metrics.
  • Deep proficiency in residential and light commercial ducted systems, ductless systems, and related parts.
  • A strong understanding of pricing and profit models to make margin-conscious decisions.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills for conducting team huddles, 1:1 meetings, and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Skilled at analyzing performance trends and addressing operational gaps promptly using KPI data.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and monitor team KPIs, maintaining a weekly scoreboard to track tickets written, gross margin, and order accuracy.
  • Drive HVAC sales growth by shadowing associates to improve selling effectiveness and increase average ticket value.
  • Champion order accuracy by conducting routine Sales Portal audits and meeting weekly with the Warehouse Lead to improve branch efficiency.
  • Own the training process for new associates, ensuring the team is proficient in processing orders, quotes, and returns per company SOPs.
  • Serve as an active member of the HVAC counter, assisting customers via phone, email, and in-person with technical solutions for complex systems.
