Position Overview: An HVAC Rough-In Installer is responsible for the initial installation of HVAC systems in construction projects. This role involves installing ductwork, piping, and equipment supports before the building is enclosed. The focus is on creating a solid foundation for the final HVAC installation. Key Responsibilities: Install ductwork, including supply and return ducts, ensuring proper sizing, placement, and sealing. Install refrigerant lines, condensate drains, and other piping components according to specifications and regulations. Mount and secure HVAC equipment, such as air handling units, heat pumps, furnaces, and condensing units, ensuring proper alignment and clearances. ? Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Coordinate with other tradespeople on the construction site. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety regulations and building codes.
