Requirements
- 3–6+ years of hands-on commercial refrigeration & HVAC service experience. Rack system experience is required.
- Proven skill with diagnostics, repairs, and system performance optimization
- EPA Type II certification required
- Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach
Nice To Haves
- Previous commercial kitchen equipment repair experience is a plus
- OSHA 30 preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair commercial HVAC refrigeration systems: walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, rack systems, ice machines as well as RTU’s, split systems, and chillers.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep systems running at peak efficiency
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues quickly and effectively
- Follow all safety protocols and refrigerant handling guidelines
- Communicate clearly with customers and recommend needed repairs or upgrades
- Share your expertise to mentor junior technicians
