About The Position

We are looking for a skilled HVAC & Refrigeration Service Technician to support commercial and industrial clients by installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC and refrigeration systems. This role focuses on diagnosing issues, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring systems operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is hands-on, dependable, and comfortable working independently in the field. This position plays a key role in maintaining critical building systems and minimizing downtime for clients.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration service or maintenance
  • Experience working on commercial HVAC systems, including RTUs, split systems, and refrigeration units
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
  • EPA Certification (Universal preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system diagrams
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Trade school or technical certification in HVAC or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems across commercial facilities
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system issues and implement effective solutions
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity
  • Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before they impact operations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and documentation
  • Communicate with clients regarding system status, repairs, and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, EPA regulations, and company procedures
  • Coordinate with internal teams for scheduling, parts procurement, and job completion
