Seeking to fill this position in early October, 2025. Performs maintenance, and repairs for heating (including hot water and steam boilers as well as other pressure vessels), ventilating, air conditioning (including cooling towers, chillers, DX units and air compressors), water treatment, humidification and hot water systems to include controls, both pneumatic and DDC. Responsibilities Performs all functions related to air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This includes servicing and repair of all gas refrigerant systems along with all integrated piping and hardware. Follows established procedures. Position interacts via telephone, written, or verbal work orders with all employee levels with the Support Service department and clients, patients and customers. Monitor HVAC systems and operations. Ensures that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules. Specifically, checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensors, cores, coils, tube bundles, pipes, heat exchangers and other functional components of the systems. Reads, interprets and follows mechanical and electrical engineering drawings, schematics and specifications as well as manufacturer's installation and maintenance directions for HVAC equipment and boilers and associated electrical equipment. Estimates labor and material costs for projects, submits requisition for materials. Inspects completed work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and local building codes. Responds to fire and disaster drills as assigned. Attends all department/hospital in-service orientation and other meetings as required. Maintains established ARAMARK and CCMC policies, procedures and objectives for quality assurance and safety. Performs all work in accordance with ARAMARK. CCMC and regulatory safety procedures and requirements including NFPA, EPA, OSHA, JCAHO, state country and local agencies. Performs other related duties as required.
