About The Position

This position provides supervision, guidance, support, and limited administration to a group of HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanics in the performance of their journeyman level job assignments. Requirements

  • Four years of experience or training in the installation and/or maintenance of heating, ventilating, or air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the installation, repair, alteration, maintenance, and control of refrigeration, heating, ventilating, and cooling systems.
  • Oversees the installation, diagnosis, repair, and adjustment on all control meter instruments involved in large areas or equipment heating and cooling.
  • Recommends changes in heating, cooling, and general refrigeration equipment and its usage.
  • Prepares cost estimates of jobs according to labor and material requirements.
  • Initiates and conducts subordinates' training.
  • Orders supply.
  • Prepares layout for the installation or renovation on heating, ventilating, and refrigeration units.
  • Updates and maintains records on all projects and control systems.
