About The Position

As a HVAC/R Service Technician, you will repair, maintain, replace and retrofit all manner of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment for the benefit of our customers. Install, maintain, and repair various types of commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, and air handling systems. Troubleshooting and service on building HVAC control systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and determine the necessary repairs to ensure optimal system performance. Perform system upgrades and controller cutovers Perform wiring checkout and assists in systems start-ups Perform programming sequence checkout Work independently Assist in the training of other technicians Interpret HVAC and electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure proper installation and service. Work in a professional manner in both occupied finish spaces and construction sites. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in HVAC technology, troubleshooting, system controls and repairs
  • Experience reading and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • EPA Universal refrigerant certification required
  • Knowledge of safety practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients.

Nice To Haves

  • Building Automation System and Chiller repair/cooling towers and troubleshooting experience preferred
