As a CBRE Senior HVAC/R Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and is responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. Must be flexible to work swing and/or overnight shift. Shift differential pay will be provided (up to 10%).

  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
  • Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
  • Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
  • Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
  • Impact the quality of own work.
  • Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Two (2) - Three (3) years of related experience (building/engineering operations).
  • HVAC, Refrigeration, Chiller, AHU (air handling unit) & RTU (rooftop unit) experience.
  • EPA required.
  • Certification in two or more of the following: Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC and Refrigeration systems, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair as well as CFC Certification.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
