Check out this video for more information on our great company! About our property: Deloitte Hotel & Conference Center High-end private hotel and conference center called Deloitte University. Closed to the public. Currently 800 hotel rooms - all single occupancy, no suites (expanding to 1,400 rooms in March 2026!) Three restaurants including a Starbucks (expanding to nine restaurants in March 2026!) 105,000 square feet of meeting space - Ballrooms, Amphitheater and classrooms. (expanding to 200k in March 2026!) Fitness Center, jogging trails and sports fields. All professional clientele. No weddings, holiday parties, school groups, or other social-type events. Located in Westlake, Texas - near Keller, Southlake, and Roanoke. For more information about our property, check our website: BenchmarkHotelDFW.com What you will have an opportunity to do: The HVAC/R Tech will assist with maintenance or other requests, identifying and correcting the problems with HVAC/R equipment. Responsibilities also include performing various work order tasks and preventative maintenance on equipment. Status: Full Time Availability:1st & 2nd shift. Anticipated start date, February 2026 Payrate: $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Two years’ building maintenance experience required.
  • One year experience in HVAC/R repairs or HVAC/R school certification required.
  • EPA CFC Type I and Type II required. Universal preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and plumbing blueprints.
  • Skilled with using tools required in this trade.
  • Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work orders submitted for HVAC/R equipment within the property.
  • Confers with Sr. HVAC/R Tech on issues unable to be resolved.
  • Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
  • Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists.
  • Reports on and corrects noted problems.
  • Identifies problems, initiates work orders, accomplished assigned work orders, and does all necessary repairs relating to their expertise.
  • Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems. (training provided).
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
  • Work in a safe manner including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
  • Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system. Training provided.
  • Assist with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.
