About The Position

Fortis College in Richmond, Va is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC/R to join its faculty. We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC/R Program. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach in HVAC/R courses. The typical teaching load is 2-3 courses each term, with 2-3. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

• Diploma required
• Certification in HVAC/R
• At least three years of experience in the field of HVAC/R
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, motivated and results driven

Nice To Haves

• Prior teaching experience preferred
