  • Ability to adapt delivery style to meet the needs of adult learners across varying levels of prior experience without compromising technical content or pacing
  • Ability to prepare for each session in advance

  • Ability to set up and manage the lab environment, ensuring equipment is operational, materials are staged, and space is organized
  • Ability to enforce all safety protocols without exception, including PPE, OSHA compliance, and lab conduct standards
  • Ability to reset the lab to full operational condition and maintain it to a professional standard
  • Ability to hold students to program standards and create a structured, respectful, and demanding learning environment
  • Ability to manage classroom and lab conduct consistently, addressing disruption or disengagement directly and professionally
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to students
  • Professional conduct as a representative of StrataTech
  • Ability to communicate professionally with client personnel and escalate issues to the Senior Director as needed
  • Ability to complete all reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements on time
  • Ability to proactively communicate scheduling needs, equipment issues, or student concerns to the Senior Director
  • Proficiency in delivering refrigeration fundamentals including refrigerant properties, refrigeration cycle theory, system components, and refrigerant safety and handling in compliance with EPA 608 standards
  • Proficiency in instructing on commercial HVAC system operation, including rooftop units, air handling units, chilled water systems, and building automation controls
  • Proficiency in delivering electrical systems content for HVAC/R including motor controls, contactors, relays, thermostat wiring, and control board diagnostics
  • Ability to conduct hands-on labs using commercial HVAC training units, enabling students to identify components, trace refrigerant circuits, perform system startup and shutdown, and read system pressures and temperatures
  • Ability to deliver system troubleshooting labs with structured diagnostic methodology, teaching students a logical fault isolation process
  • Proficiency in instructing on LOTO procedures specific to HVAC/R equipment, electrical safety, and refrigerant safety protocols

Responsibilities

  • Deliver assigned program curriculum in classroom and lab settings with technical accuracy and instructional clarity
  • Follow the curriculum as designed, without substitution or modification unless approved by the Senior Director or B2B Curriculum Manager
  • Adapt delivery style to meet the needs of adult learners across varying levels of prior experience without compromising technical content or pacing
  • Prepare for each session in advance
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and student progress documentation throughout each cohort
  • Identify students who are struggling and intervene early
  • Set up and manage the lab environment for each session, ensuring equipment is operational, materials are staged, and space is organized before students arrive
  • Enforce all safety protocols without exception, including PPE, OSHA compliance, and lab conduct standards
  • Reset the lab at the conclusion of each cohort to full operational condition
  • Maintain the lab to a standard that reflects professional pride, not minimum compliance
  • Hold students to the standard the program requires
  • Create a learning environment that is structured, respectful, and demanding
  • Manage classroom and lab conduct consistently, addressing disruption or disengagement directly and professionally
  • Provide students with clear, actionable feedback throughout the program, not only at formal evaluation points
  • Conduct yourself as a representative of StrataTech in every interaction
  • Communicate with client personnel professionally and within the scope of your role
  • Escalate questions or concerns that exceed the role's scope to the Senior Director within the same business day
  • Complete all reporting, documentation, and administrative requirements on time
  • Communicate scheduling needs, equipment issues, or student concerns to the Senior Director proactively
  • Deliver refrigeration fundamentals including refrigerant properties, refrigeration cycle theory, system components, and refrigerant safety and handling in compliance with EPA 608 standards
