About the position

As a Project Sales Representative, you will market the company to new clients and develop turnkey solutions including estimating and proposal presentations for mechanical and plumbing retrofit projects in residential and commercial markets. This position also requires the ability to manage existing customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Market the company to new clients
  • Develop turnkey solutions for mechanical and plumbing retrofit projects
  • Estimate and present proposals for projects
  • Survey mechanical systems and understand client needs
  • Interpret drawings, equipment, and job conditions
  • Qualify prospects and make effective sales presentations
  • Address customer concerns and maintain long-term relationships

Requirements

  • Prior experience in an HVAC sales role
  • Knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing systems and components
  • Ability to prepare financial justifications for solutions
  • Understanding of energy savings with LEED knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with customer relationship development and maintenance
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to maintain a motor vehicle record that meets company guidelines

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of energy savings with LEED knowledge
