  • Prioritize delivery & pickup schedules with the ability to redirect priorities as needed.
  • Maintain job files and provide timely follow up to customers on previous service issues.
  • Assist with cleaning of rental fleet including maintenance and repairs.
  • Work within asset tracking software properly to record units in/units out by serial number.
  • Provide timely and effective communication to sales & billing personnel to meet job scope and customer requirements.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required based on business need.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for emergencies.
  • Ability to work within a team or independently with minimal supervision.
  • Represent HVAC RNTL in a positive manner to other trade professionals, contractors and owners outside of the HVAC RNTL business.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Must have current HVAC certification and OSHA 10 Training.
  • 1 - 5 years in PC/HVAC maintenance, mechanical engineering, or other related fields.
  • Electrical knowledge required and EPA Certification Preferred (i.e. HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer, etc.).
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to train junior technicians.
  • Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
  • Ability to work in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, risk of electrical shock (high voltage), climbing/working at elevated heights, etc.
  • Must be able to climb, crawl, stoop, kneel and must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
