About The Position

Join One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning , a nationally recognized HVAC franchise, as a HVAC Operations Manager . We’re seeking a hands-on leader who can manage field operations today while growing into full operational ownership as the business expands. Over time, your role will evolve from direct field involvement to overseeing day-to-day operations as a General Manager, shaping a high-performing, people-focused team. Requirements

  • Valid North Carolina HVAC License – Heating Group 3, Class I Contractor (qualifying the company for residential and light commercial work in Fuquay‑Varina)
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC operations, leadership, or management
  • Strong leadership mindset with a focus on coaching and developing teams
  • Comprehensive technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installations, and service
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality and integrity

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all HVAC operations to ensure high-quality service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Mentor, coach, and develop technicians, fostering career growth and a high-performing team
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate residential and light commercial HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance projects
  • Develop, implement, and refine operational processes and best practices to drive efficiency and consistency
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and industry standards
  • Manage vendor relationships, equipment, and inventory to optimize resources and reduce costs
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support business growth
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives, business development, and customer retention
