About The Position

We offer single-source facilities services solutions, including engineering, design, installation, repair, maintenance and operations for commercial real estate, financial, healthcare, technology, educational, and industrial facilities. New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking an HVAC Technician with an OE2 or S2 license to maintain trouble shoot, repair and operate commercial HVAC systems for a customer in the Hartford area. This position is in-house and the hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. #nemsi

Requirements

Connecticut OE2 or S2 license.
Extensive commercial HVAC systems experience.
Must have a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

Boiler and steam experience a plus

Responsibilities

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.
Follow and comply with the rules and regulations of section 608 of the clean air act and occupational safety regulations mandated by federal, state and local governments.
Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI
Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.
Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.
Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires
Other duties may be assigned.
