HVAC/Mechanical Trades Specialist $26.92 minimum starting pay Job Level: Individual Contributor Shelter maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in geographic location, education, training, skills, relevant work experience, business needs and market demands. Please remember that this is the minimum starting base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. What You Will Be Doing: Install, maintain and repair mechanical systems, including but not limited to HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical and Pneumatic systems. Maintain, repair and replace heat pumps and steam boilers when necessary with or without assistance. Analyze HVAC systems and equipment when necessary to find inefficiencies or malfunctions and create solutions to optimize performance and increase the efficiency of operation. Remove and install new HVAC systems when applicable. Provide support and expertise in all areas of Facility Operations and Engineering. This position requires a high level of expertise in the commercial HVAC and mechanical trades field. Requirements

10-15 years of Mechanical experience
Experience in Commercial HVAC, minimum of 5 years preferred
Excellent customer service skills for effective interaction with employees
Self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team environment or individually
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

Master Mechanical certification preferred

Responsibilities
