About The Position
DCO Energy LLC (DCO) is seeking a dynamic HVAC Mechanical Engineer to join their Engineering Team in the Mays Landing, New Jersey office. This position is ideal for individuals with commercial and educational institutional design experience and excellent communication skills. DCO is a vertically-integrated energy solutions company that specializes in the development, design-build, operations, maintenance, and ownership of facilities that provide electrical and/or thermal energy from various sources, including landfill gas, biogas, photovoltaic systems, and combined heat and power (CHP). The company also offers MEP engineering and design services for commercial and educational institutions. As an HVAC Mechanical Engineer, you will apply your knowledge in the design of HVAC systems specifically tailored for commercial and educational institutions. This includes performing load calculations, sizing and selecting HVAC equipment, and developing HVAC system arrangements. You will interact with various engineering disciplines, construction project managers, and clients to ensure project success. Additionally, you will provide project development and conceptual engineering support to the Business Development team, assisting with qualification submittals, cost estimates, bids, proposals, and presentations. Your role will also involve performing HVAC engineering and design tasks, which include the preparation of drawings and specifications, procurement, and bid evaluations of HVAC equipment and systems required to support EPC contracts. You will be responsible for providing insight, guidance, technical review, and approval of project documents and submittals, ensuring that all engineering standards and client requirements are met.
