About The Position
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for helping court-involved youth. The Division of Juvenile Justice's Facility Maintenance section employs a regional hub structure, consisting of three geographically located hubs: Cabarrus, CA Dillion, and Lenoir/Dobbs. These hubs serve the Western, Central, and Eastern regions, and operate as the primary locations for storing division hardware assets and deploying manpower for complex preventive and corrective maintenance tasks. The mission of the Division of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (DJJDP) in the Department of Public Safety, is to reduce and prevent juvenile delinquency by effectively operating an integrated, comprehensive juvenile justice system that intervenes through education and treatment of youth in order to promote youth accountability, strengthen families and increase public safety.
