About The Position

Inspect, report malfunctions, and make repairs to HVAC equipment and related systems.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
• Six years of experience or a comparable combination of education and experience in HVAC maintenance required.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with a basic understanding of blueprints.
• Ability to reason and troubleshoot problems in a logical, systematic manner.
• Possess a basic understanding of applicable codes and ordinances.
• Knowledge of general safety rules.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect HVAC equipment and related systems for malfunctions.
• Report malfunctions and necessary repairs.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment using assorted hand and power tools.
• Maintain and complete written records, logs, requisitions, and work orders.
