About The Position

Under general direction, the person performing this job is responsible for r epairing and maintaining commercial refrigeration equipment for production equipment, support equipment, and facilities. Ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.

Requirements

• Demonstrates concern for safety of self and others

• Calculates figures - basic math and some algebra
• Effectively communicates in verbal and written form
• Listens to and understands ideas presented by operators, co-workers, supervisors, and others
• Plans and executes work with limited supervision
• Performs visual inspection
• Ability to analyze and diagnose a problem
• Troubleshooting
• Great attention to detail
• Organization
• Work in a team setting
• High School Diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• 1-3 years manufacturing experience

Nice To Haves

• Journeyman’s Card or Certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis commercial chillers
• Diagnosis HVAC (Rooftop and Mini split) units
• Diagnosis of Firing Furnaces
• Diagnosis refrigeration equipment
• Diagnosis dehumidification systems
• Provide service of Makeup air units
• Preventative maintenance
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
