About The Position

The HVAC Maintenance Tech, under general supervision, performs preventive maintenance and installs minor/routine parts on all types of HVAC equipment. Completes preventive maintenance, including cleans. At the sole discretion of the Company, Maintenance Technicians may be assigned the work of an assistant as a developmental and/or training opportunity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• HVAC certification and/or training from an accredited technical school are desirable
• EPA certification required with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in HVAC or appliance service work
• Completion of an accredited HVAC technical school.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Install minor/routine parts
• Install and make operational HVAC equipment and other appliances as required.
• Maintain good housekeeping, including maintenance of tools and equipment, and maintain required truck stock.
• Accurately apply Company billing and installation procedures.
• Maintain a positive customer service approach.
• Advises customers of and sells Company products and services.
