About The Position

TSC Air is seeking a highly experienced HVAC Lead Installer (Level 1) to oversee and execute all aspects of HVAC system installations. This role is responsible for leading installation teams, ensuring top-tier workmanship, and maintaining strict adherence to company standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with deep technical expertise who can manage projects from start to finish while developing team members and driving performance in the field.

Requirements

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and develop installation teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate tense situations
  • Mastery of all HVAC installation processes and best practices
  • Minimum of 200 completed HVAC installations
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • EPA Certification (required)
  • NATE Certification (required)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of HVAC system installations from start to completion
  • Set the tone for professionalism, accountability, and performance on every job site
  • Ensure all team members present themselves professionally in appearance, communication, and workmanship
  • Supervise and mentor Level 2 installers, providing hands-on training and support
  • Establish clear daily goals and expectations for each installation project
  • Monitor progress throughout the day and adjust workflow as needed
  • Maintain composure and effectively resolve issues in the field
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for installation quality and completion
  • Ensure all work meets TSC Air standards for safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Take full ownership of any callback issues and ensure proper resolution
  • Plan, organize, and execute installation projects efficiently
  • Assign and delegate tasks based on team strengths and development areas
  • Conduct ongoing performance evaluation of team members during installations
  • Identify skill gaps and communicate development needs to management
  • Provide coaching and training to continuously improve team capabilities
  • Maintain consistent communication with team members and leadership
  • Identify and address problem areas in real time to avoid delays or quality issues
  • Ensure all installations are completed within established timelines and standards
