Our award-winning customer service has been recognized with Angie’s List Super Service Awards. We are seeking a skilled HVAC Lead Installer to join our team in Boxborough, MA. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who takes pride in leading installation projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal HVAC technical training or certification preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as a residential HVAC installer or equivalent role (lead experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of HVAC equipment, installation practices, and applicable codes and regulations
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
  • Skilled in the safe use of standard HVAC tools and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential homes, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency
  • Collaborate with fellow installers and technicians to plan and execute jobs according to project specifications and local code
  • Measure, cut, and assemble materials including ductwork, refrigerant piping, condensate lines, and electrical connections
  • Integrate HVAC systems into existing home infrastructure, including duct systems and control panels, while ensuring compliance with safety standards
  • Test systems thoroughly post-installation to confirm correct operation and make necessary calibrations or corrections
  • Deliver exceptional service by explaining system functions to homeowners and providing maintenance guidance
  • Follow company safety protocols and uphold Papalia’s standards of excellence on every job
  • Complete all required documentation including job reports, inspections, and equipment tracking accurately and promptly
