Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on residential HVAC installation experience
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- EAP certification a plus
- Familiarity with ServiceTitan a plus
- Boiler installation experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead residential HVAC installation projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to code
- Install and replace HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, ventilation, and thermostats
- Provide clear direction, mentorship, and support to installation apprentices or team members
- Communicate professionally with homeowners about installation steps, system operation, and maintenance recommendations
- Ensure all installations meet Hoover’s quality standards and local/state code requirements
- Verify system performance and perform start-ups, commissioning, and testing
- Maintain accurate job documentation, including installation checklists and required forms in ServiceTitan
- Ensure equipment, tools, and company vehicle are well-maintained and organized
- Assist with training and developing junior installers to build a strong, capable team
- Participate in ongoing technical and leadership training
