The HVAC Installer is responsible for installing residential heating and air conditioning systems according to company and manufacturer standards. This role ensures high-quality workmanship, an excellent customer experience, proper documentation, and efficient job completion within budgeted labor hours. Lead Installers may supervise helpers on job sites. In this role, you’ll transform blueprints into reality, ensure every installation runs flawlessly, and leave customers feeling confident and cared for.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of HVAC lead installation experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical know-how and problem-solving skills.
  • Universal EPA (CFC) Certification
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to teamwork
  • Advanced understanding of HVAC layout, design, fabrication, and installation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Install residential HVAC systems according to company standards and manufacturer specifications, with precision and pride.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job layouts, and installation plans to ensure accurate system placement.
  • Perform system start-ups, testing, and fine tuning to bring each installation to life.
  • Follow all safety policies, codes, and industry best practices to protect yourself and others.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, keeping them informed and confident in the work performed.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, workspace, and company vehicle in clean, organized, and good working condition.
  • Complete all required job paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient, high-quality installations.
