About The Position

The HVAC-Kitchen Engineer position at Golden Nugget in Laughlin, Nevada, requires a minimum of five years' experience in commercial air conditioning, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment. Candidates must be E.P.A certified and possess knowledge in troubleshooting and repairing kitchen equipment, electrical systems, welding, plumbing, air conditioning/refrigeration, and kitchen exhaust systems.

Requirements

• HVAC certified.
• Minimum of 5 years' work experience in maintenance or trades.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance or trades.
• Minimum age requirement is 21.
• Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of large hotel kitchen equipment.
• Repair of plumbing and associated equipment including toilet replacement, snake stopped drains, and repair leaks in piping, faucets, and drains.
• HVAC maintenance and repair including heating, venting, and air conditioning.
• Repairing air handlers, VAV box, and calibrating thermostats.
• Water treatment of spas, pools, cooling towers, boilers, water softeners, and closed loop systems.
• Maintenance of boiler and chiller operation and associated equipment.
• Maintenance and repair of refrigeration and ice machines.
• Operation, maintenance, and repair of stand-by generators.
• Maintenance and repair of pumps and pressurized water systems.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.
