Requirements

  • Strong willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
  • Ability to travel regularly with some overnight travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist experienced technicians with installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Assist in the servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Use a variety of hand-tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
  • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer’s location.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
  • Prepare for on-site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials and coordinating on-site work.
  • Inspect vehicles by checking vehicle condition and cleanliness.
  • Maintain vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance service.
  • Maintain equipment by inspecting for signs of wear and notifying customer and/or Operations Manager of findings.
  • Document work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
  • Represent the company by serving as a direct customer contact.
  • Determine parts to order for repairs and timeliness of need.
  • Record parts, material, labor, subs and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources.
  • Turn in all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
  • Keep current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service and repair.
  • Read and interpret product specifications.
  • Provide technical support to customers.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Be flexible to work overtime/weekends as necessary.
  • Regular travel requirements with some overnight travel, as needed.
