Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an industrial setting.
  • Must be a member or willing to join a local Union.
  • Able to repair centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and screw chillers system components.
  • Universal EPA refrigerants license, applicable state or local licensing, and valid driver's license.
  • Attention to detail through interpersonal, digital, and written skills.
  • Self-starter with a passion/ desire to learn and apply on the job.
  • Prioritize safety in all forms.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Residential and/or ducted products, air cooled and/or water-cooled chillers, AHU’s or Roof Top ducted units.
  • Willingness to enroll in training programs and JCI’s STA to gain knowledge in HVAC products and sales quoting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other local market mechanics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide our customers with the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and resolve service-related items.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing solutions and outcomes at the time of commissioning and aftermarket service.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facility is running efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
  • Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.
